Welcome to DRE Electrical

DRE Electrical is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Mastermyne Group of Companies. Based in Mackay, DRE are an electrical contracting company predominantly servicing the coal mining industry.

DRE specialise in dragline and shovel electrics and our personnel have many years experience constructing, refurbishing and commissioning draglines.

The workshop facility is located in Paget, central to the industrial hub of Mackay. The company manufacture and wire electrical switchboards and other equipment on these premises.

DRE Electrical employs eighteen permanent staff, ramping up to around sixty during shutdown/construction periods.
